Little ball of anger
That describes Ryley at the moment.
A little ball of anger.
He is tired tired tired.
Something in his body doesn't seem right.
And I don't know what it is.
This morning I wrestled with him for 20 mins. He just didn't want to get dressed.
The look of anger on his face was something I rarely see.
Then when I took him to the bus he was pushing the attendent in the face and trying to pull her glasses off.
(Which is kind of funny, but I promise I didn't giggle...well maybe on the inside).
I have never seen him do that to anybody other than me.
His school concert is tonight and I know he will be nervous. He always gets nervous.
We have a tradition on school concert night where we have fish and chips for tea, then we get an ice-cream on the way home as we look at some christmas lights.
Ryley loves the bit after he has been on stage.
Braeden is beside himself with excitement about the concert tonight.
I hope that some of the anger Ryley is showing me is because he is nervous about tonight and he is tired.
I hope that he has a sleep after school tonight.
I hope that this isn't the start of puberty*. Because god help me if it is.
All I can do is cuddle him, apply some deep pressure and hope we make it through until holidays.
*Kids with WHS are known to start puberty early around the age of 9. Ryley is nearly 10.

God I didn't know that Anna age 9 Allissa is like ryley in age the anger thing could be nerves or he's reacting to something else are u anxious or nervous for him they do bounce off our feelings .. I hope and pray tonight goes off wonderfully for u . Is there any info I can read up on about the Puberty thing ??

I really hope this thing with Ryley is nerves.. and that the school concert goes well.. Love the tradition of fish and chips and ice cream.. sounds like a great night. Enjoy..!!!

ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, I hope it's not puberty, even though that's bound to happen sooner or later... I hope all goes well with the concert, and that he's back to his usual self quickly!

Phil- He seems ok again. I think the tiredness is not helping. I think he is just wants to sleep in. Which is funny because he is notorious for hating to sleep in!
