Those that know me very very very well, will know that this is my absolute favourite movie of all time (and Wuthering Heights too). I pretty much know the movie word for word. Anyhoo. I have pretty much been waiting for years for it to come out on DVD as my well loved VCR copy really was just not the same. So given that it came out today, guess what I went out and bought?? Braeden is currently glued to it. Ryley never really liked it that much (how disappointed was I??!). So now all my hopes are focussed on Braeden. He better love it as much as me. Bad luck I guess if he doesn't. Because guess what we are watching on repeat from now on??? There are SO many great lines in the movie: "Cheaters never prosper" (why thankyou for your wise words Zazu) "Hakuna Matata-it means no worries, for the rest of your days" (Oh if only you were right Timon and Pumbaa). "Hippity Hop all the way to the birdy boiler" (Oh you hyenas...gimme one of those boil...

How boring is this blog right now? Not much being written here is there? I just don't feel like I have anything much to write about that wouldn't bore everyone to death. So maybe I will just dot point life for us right now. Busy fundraising. Busy organising WHS Conference Did I mention fundraising? It's cold. And yes. I do know I live in a notoriously cold place, and not to mention it is winter. But still...Some days I just can't get warm, no matter how long I stand in front of the heater. We can haz a new car. I do love my new car. Mainly because it doesn't break down on us. And it is blue. I like blue. My darling husband is coming out of retirement for a footy match next weekend. Which should be good for a laugh. Being the celebrity that he is, this one off football game is to help raise funds for the conference. So, if you feel like laughing with me, feel free to join me on the sidelines as I yell encouraging lines such as: "You are too old for thi...

I will return after these short commercials...

And also when Ryley is well again..But for now..just consider making a hammertime suit, or investing in a music vest, while listening to tv commercial music and typing on the new electric typewriter. Tweet

A whole post of nothing.

Hark the herald angels siiing. I feel the need for boring posts coming on. Seriously. Either that or I am taking this blog all the way to the shadows of privacy. I am starting to feel a bit wierd about privacy on the 'net at the moment. I am on the verge of taking down my profile on FB actually. The only thing holding me back is the fact that I am in contact with so many families with WHS. But maybe I can get around that? Anyway. Today's fluffy post idea is completely copied from Sunny Side Up . Check out her blog people. It is way awesome. So here are random thoughts and happenings from the past week: Ryley has developed a 'snarl'. This means that if he doesn't like what you are saying he snarls at you. Been trying to catch it on camera. But he is too quick for me. Snarl. The boys and I made an aeroplane out a box last night. We painted, cut and stickytaped for an hour and half. They are so proud of it. I took photos. But I don't plan on putting photos ...

Fluff...

You all know what fluff is. Annoying stuff that means nothing, and has no real place in the world. Well this is what this post is all about. Nothing. Well not nothing I s'pose. It will just have no theme. It will be a whole bunch of random thoughts. So here we go. I am so proud of Ryley for being student of the week this week. I wish that he didn't wake at 5 am every morning because he wants to get up. Have I ever mentioned how much I love coffee? I suddenly remembered after reading this awesome blog  that I am going to be going in a running race in 3 weeks and I should really do some running or something to train for it... Braeden loves looking for bunnies at night. Every night. Not just easter bunny night. It doesn't help when the caravan park you are staying in has lots of them there roaming around. It doesn't help that a certain 2 year old now has his own torch and can open the door and go looking for bunnies. Because it's dark that's why. ...
